The Roles of Transformational Leadership and Growth Mindset in Teacher Professional Development: The Mediation of Teacher Self-Efficacy

This study investigated the effects of school-related factors (i.e., transformational leadership) and teacher-related teachers’ growth mindset self-efficacy) in sustainable professional development, as indicated by their reported desirable attitudes adoption teaching strategies using method structural equation modelling. Based on a questionnaire survey 1297 teachers China, results this showed that, compared with mindset, leadership had stronger effect teacher self-efficacy; leadership, rather than was significantly directly related to towards classroom strategies.
